Die Hard 2
By: Tori Douglas
Die hard 2 was a great action movie
of 1990. This series of movies were filled with fight scenes, plenty of
villains, and a lot of remember able dialogue. Bruce Willis, the hero of the
movie saves the day once again on Christmas Eve in Washington D.C.when the villains, terrorist, of the movie try to rescue the drug lord that had been extradited by the U.S. government.
The movie was made from digitally
composed live action footage, meaning they altered many of the scenes on the
computer after they were shot. Producers also used matte painting to create
some scenes, including the last scene on the runway. Matte painting, is when a
traditional painting is made to look like its forming a scene in the distance,
an optical illusion. These are just a few techniques that the making of Die
Hard 2 used to create a high intensity action film.
I think this movie was able to engage many different ranges of audiences from young to old and men to women. Bruce Willis is an engaging actor that created many classic movies.
