Jill Rosenblum Post #10 Mo' Money (1992)

Mo' Money (1992) directed by Peter MacDonald is about Johnny Stewart (Damon Wayans) trying to get his life together. Johnny is poor so decides to get a job with a credit card company. Everything seems to be going great in the business, Johnny is making money and will steal a few credit cards here and there and no one notices at first.Soon Johnny falls in love with a co-worker Amber (Stacey Dash) however, Amber is not falling for Johnny's sly tricks to win her over. Towards the end people find out about what Johnny is doing and he is dragged into security and treated like a criminal.

This movie uses a lot of full body shots to capture the characters actions. However, whenever they show Amber, a lot of close up shots are used so the audience can see her reaction and point of view towards Johnny. A lot of medium close up shots and over the shoulder shots are used as well.

I did not like this movie too much, it was hard to follow and understand. However, the movie was comical in the parts that I could understand and I think if I were to watch it again I might understand this movie better.
